Sweet Summer

I had a couple of great trips to one the fantastic rivers nearby Gothenburg last week. We had some moments of fantastic fishing on very tricky trout, and I even had my chanses on some sight fishing in shallow water. My lesson learned – never underestimate the eyes of the trout! It may not see… Read more »

Gothenburg gig review

Hi! Here’s a review from our recent concert in Gothenburg (Göteborg Daily): Parken – February 23. Finding a specific way of describing the jazz musician’s muse is by no means an easy thing to do. However, the words of Jazz legend Benny Green seem to deliver a strange sense of clarity in labelling its essence…. Read more »

Gothenburg planning session

The days we spent in Gothenburg after the release concert were very intensive and inspiring. We spent hours and hours in planning the future, and got some very good insights to film making from our documentary producer Petzi. He illustrated his ideas with drawings that seemed very clear at that moment. I’m not that sure… Read more »

JFF at Rise Film Festival

Days of creative action

Wow – the three days we just spent recording were spectacular. We met in Gothenburg to record music for our fishing videos. We had had some mail correspondance where we decided what to play. No sheets – just moods: minimalistic stuff, drum grooves, bass grooves, dum and bass grooves, free jazz, old school jazz, lapland… Read more »

Full moon

The weather was excellent when me and Fredrik decided to go for sea trout fishing after a long break. Light wind from the west and good conditions in the water. A couple of hours of fishing in the evening, and Fredrik’s sinking line and a big shrimp imitation were what the trout liked. He landed… Read more »

JFF goes Göteborgsvarvet

In order to be in shape for the fishing season me and Fredrik decided to participate in the Göteborgsvarvet, a half marathon running competition in Gothenburg. It’s a big running party with around 50 000-60 000 runners, lots of bands playing by the track and the whole city watching and cheering. The weather forecast is… Read more »
