Done.

Need your recommendation on a suitable brand of scotch to drink while watching your DVD.

Caol Ila is probably my favourite. Very smoky yet fruity somehow. Super tasty.
And on the other end of the scale, I enjoy the smoothness of a Glenmorangie, too.
But I´m by no means an expert on this, I just really enjoy a good single malt whisky after a rough day of tundra fishing;)

Other suggestions, anyone?

I’d say Caol Ila is too delicious and therefore you will get too drunk before getting to the second DVD. Try the Laphroaigh Quarter Cask, it is so full of taste and smokiness you can’t take it all at once!

Chivas Regal all the way, I’ve got a bottle of 18 year old that I got for my birthday that’s been waiting for such an occasion.

Yeah, Espen – no releaseparty, unfortunately. Too much stuff going on right now, on all fronts, so it turned out to be impossible to arrange a proper release tour.
However, we are planning to do a kick-ass release tour for Season 2 in late winter/early spring 2013;)

Pre-ordered 🙂 Very best regards to all you guys. BTW – Jura single malt (Original) is a lovely drop. Enjoy

I’ve just finished my bottle of Jura “Superstition”….it was superb!! And on the lines all things Peaty, one of my other favourites is Ledaig from the Isle of Mull 😀

Hoy,

Lagavulin, my impression is that it’s more “smooth” than Laphroig. Before you know it you’re on your 4th glass. Have tried 12 year cask strength, 16 year and distillers edition. They’re all lovely.
